Edward J. Holloway Jr., 84, of Weehawken and Pine Island, FL, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on December 7, 2019 at Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River, NJ.
Born in Jersey City to the late Edna (nee Gould) and Edward Holloway. Ed lived most of his life in the township of Hoboken and Weehawken. Ed was a retired Truck Driver and former owner of Toway Trucking and a member of Union Local 560. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean war. Edward was a member of the Elks Lodge 74 in Hoboken.
Ed was predeceased by his loving wife Josephine (nee Baranich) earlier this year. He leaves to mourn his passing, his children, Angela Parisi and her husband John, Debra Holloway, Celeste Holloway, and his only son Edward. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Cristin Parisi and two endeared great grandchildren, Eliah and Hailee, and two cherished sisters Eileen McInerney and Edna Spadevecchia. Ed was also predeceased by sister Margaret Rauh and a brother Roger Holloway. A host of nieces (Thea Malfetti) and nephews also survive him. Ed will be missed by many close relatives and good friends.
