Cosmo Mezzina, 90, of Guttenberg, NJ, entered into eternal life on August 26, 2025.  Beloved husband of Marta (née Petruzzella).  Devoted father of Joseph (Rosalba) Mezzina and Rosa (Giuseppe) Miele.  Cherished grandfather of Andrew (Delia) Mezzina, Amanda (Jerry) Gravina, Lauren Smith, Nico (Jordan Little) Smith, Briana Mezzina. Cosmo is predeceased by his son, Felice Mezzina, daughter, Antonietta Mezzina and brother, Felice Mezzina.

Cosmo was born in Molfetta, Italy to Cosima (née LaMacchia) and Felice Mezzina.  He emigrated to the U.S. in 1965 and worked as a longshoreman for over 30 years.

Visitation Thursday, August 28, 2025, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 AM at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken.  Entombment will take place at Fairview Mausoleum and will be private, attended only by the immediate family.
