Catherine M. Marra (nee Jacobsen), a life long Hoboken resident passed away in the presence of her family at Hoboken University Medical Center at the age of 86.  Catherine was a retired cafeteria worker at the Hoboken Highschool for more then 25 years.  She is survived by her devoted husband Joseph J. Marra, her only son Joseph Jr. and his wife Anna L. Marra, a brother Peter (Geneieve), three grandchildren, Anna, Joseph, and Nicholas, four endeared great grandchildren, Anthony, Francis, James, and Josephine, and several nieces and nephews.  Catherine was predeceased by two sisters Amelia Mitchell and Helen Mazzo.  

The funeral Mass will be offered at St. Lawrence R.C. Church, Weehawken, Thursday at 9:30 AM.  Entombment will follow at Holly Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, beginning at 4 PM and concluding 8 PM.  Parking available in rear of Memorial Home off Sixth St.
