Catherine Ferrante passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at the age of 94.
Catherine loved life and all the people in it. She brought joy wherever she went and had a way of making everyone feel special. She adored her grandchildren and took great pride in her family, who were the center of her world. Catherine was funny, full of life, and truly the life of the party; there wasn’t anyone who did not love her. She kept everyone on their toes with her quick wit and spirited personality.
She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially gardening and baking, sharing her love through everything she grew and made.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Linda Epperson and her husband Jack, her daughter, Denise DeLeo; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Falkins and her husband Shon, Andrea Ferrante, Dennis R. Ferrante, Nicholas Ferrante, Anthony DeLeo and his wife Bobby Jo, and Domenick DeLeo; her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Julia, Gianna Rose, Danny, Nicholas, and Domenick; and her brother, Joseph Territola, and his wife Anna. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ciro Ferrante, and her loving son, Dennis Ferrante.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Fialla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 7, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.
Catherine will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
