Carole Bartolucci, born April 14, 1943, in Luton, England, journeyed from this life, leaving her family with loving memories and a legacy of devotion.
Carole’s spirit was full of fire-she lived with vitality, spoke with conviction, and loved with her whole heart. She filled her life with passion, memorable moments, her family and a love for travel.
For decades, Carole and her husband, Carl Bartolucci, spent their summers in Italy, making cherished memories with family and friends. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved cooking for them, and sharing her joy of tradition. Having retired over 30 years ago, Carole was fortunate to live a long and full life surrounded by those she cherished most.
Carole was first married to Joseph Yaccarino, who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joan Whalen and George Whalen, and her siblings, Graham Whalen and Kathleen Waters. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 54 years Carl Bartolucci, her daughter Andrea Melendez, her son Joseph Yaccarino, and her son Lee Yaccarino. Carole was the proud grandmother of Joseph, Adrianna, and Christopher, whom she absolutely adored.
Whenever they walked into the room, her eyes lit up with joy, and they were truly the light of her life.Carole’s bold spirit, her love of family, and the beautiful memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation Friday, September 12, 2025, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Church on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 9:45 AM. Interment at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Avenue, Jersey City.
