Carmen Burgos, (nee Suarez), passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Friday, April 17, 2020 at her home in Little Ferry, NJ where she resided until her passing. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to parents, Alfredo and Dolores (nee Davila) Suarez.  Carmen worked in the School Cafeteria, preparing meals for many students at St. Joseph by The Sea in Staten Island, New York. Predeceased by her two sons, Thomas (2019) and James (2012) and a brother Alfredo Suarez, Jr. Surviving is her loving husband of fifty-four years, Tommy, and her cherished daughter Virginia Burgos. A great joy in Carmen’s life were her endeared grandchildren, Giovanna, Thomas, Allison, Josie, TJ, Anthony, Michael and Krystal and great-grandchildren, Bianca, Gulianna, Natalie, TJ, Jordan, Jamison, Jessie James, Jersey and DJ.

Due to the current health crisis, Carmen will be privately interred at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
