Antonio Morrone, 85, of Hoboken passed away Saturday, August 27th, at his Hoboken home in the presence of his loving wife and children. Antonio was born in Caggiano, Italy and Immigrated to New York City in 1967.
Antonio was a gifted mechanic employed with New Jersey Transit in Newark, NJ for 33 years before retiring.
He leaves to mourn his passing; his loving wife Bettina (Nee Casale), his cherished children; Teresa Loh (Shi’Hong), Nicolina Grasso (Salvatore), Mario (Olga), and Anthony (Nelly).
Also surviving; is a sister, Angela Pucciarelli,
He was predeceased by a loving son Jack.
He was blessed with nine grandchildren; Jade, Claudia, Salvatore, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Antonio, Jada, Anthony and Adrianna and six endeared great-grandchildren; Lynesse, Ileana, Makayla, Cynthia, Emmanuel, and Angelina.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1st, beginning at 3pm and concluding at 9pm.
Funeral mass will be offered on Friday, September 2nd, at St. Francis Church- Hoboken, 10am.
Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Fairview, NJ.
