Antonietta Rocco (nee:Nazzaro), 91, of Newark, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 in Lanoka Harbor, NJ surrounded by her beloved  children. Born and raised in Deliceto, Foggia; she and her family then moved to Newark in May of 1972 where she dedicated  herself to her work and doted on her family. 

She was a devoted parishioner to both St Francis and St Lucy’s Church in  Newark, where for 40 years rain or shine, she attended and walked along side her beloved patron saint, St Gerard. 

Everyone that encountered Antonietta knew her best as ”Nonnie” a loving and caring person that would give you her all. Her warmth, kindnesss, and unwavering love for her family were the hallmarks of her life. Her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. 

She leaves behind her cherished childen; Antonio (Donna) and Anneliese (Battista). Her loving grandchildren, Anthony (Isabel), Michael (Christina), Porzia (Giuseppe), Antonietta (Lev), Nicole (Korii) & Michelle (Michael); along with her great grandchildren, Gianna, Alessia, Adriana, Vincenzo, Mia, Luciana, Analia  & Korii Jr.

She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Giuseppina, Maria and Lucia. Leaving behind her sister, Geraldina and brother Pasquale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 3:00-8:00PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home located at 533 Willow Ave. Hoboken, NJ.

The funeral mass will be offered at St. Francis Church 308 Jefferson Street Hoboken, NJ on Friday, June 14th beginning at 10:00AM.

Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery, 1500 & 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union NJ 07083.
