Antonietta Morin (nee Racanati), a lifelong resident of Hoboken, passed away peacefully at Colombia University New York Presbyterian Hospital, surrounded with her loving children on March 16, 2021. Born to Nicola Racanati and Maria Capurso. Antonietta immigrated from Bari Molfetta, Italy in 1957 at the age of 16. Antonietta attended Demarest School, in Hoboken, where she met the love of her life, Bruno, and together they raised 4 beautiful children , on 5th Street in Hoboken. Antonietta was a devoted Parishioner at Our Lady of Grace Roman and Catholic Church, in Hoboken, where she worked Bingo. Predeceased by her loving husband Bruno (2005), Antonietta will be sadly missed by her daughter MaryAnn Hroncic and her husband Nick, her daughter Elvira Yacullo and her husband Thomas, her daughter Rosa Krausch and her husband Henry, her son Anthony Morin (owner of AM Construction) and his wife Sondra. A great joy in Antonietta’s life were her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany, Thomas Jr., Gina, Michael, Alexa, Joey, and Ryan. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 11AM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Hoboken. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass on Friday from 8:30AM to 10:30AM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. Due to CDC Guidelines, visitors are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
