Obituary

Anthony Rutigliano, 40, tragically passed away at home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Aberdeen, New Jersey. Born in Hoboken, Anthony attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Union, New Jersey. He was affectionately called “Kutz” by his closest family but preferred the nickname “Malibu Tony.” He was predeceased by his father, Mauro (July 2016) and younger brother, Gerardo (October 2020). He leaves to mourn his passing, his cherished daughter, Diletta. Also surviving are his mother, Francesca (nee Di Gennaro), sisters, Sophia, Jacqueline, Maryann, and Anna. He will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheels memorabilia, and enjoyed fishing and writing/recording rap music.

The funeral mass will be offered on Monday, July 12, 2021, 11AM at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Hoboken. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview. Visitation will begin at 7AM and conclude at 10:30AM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Habitat for Humanity or American Diabetes Association will be greatly appreciated by the family.
