Anthony R. Lanzone, age 89, of Jersey City, NJ.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 2, 2021.  He was the beloved husband of his late wife Vincenza (nee D’Orio).  Anthony was the devoted father of Anne Marie Lavelle and her husband Frank, Mark Lanzone and his girlfriend Penny Burdick, Christopher, and Thomas. The greatest joy in his life were his cherished grandchildren Carla, Gina, Lisa, and Anthony.  He was predeceased by a brother Marchella and a sister Mary A. Lanzone.  Anthony was born in Weehawken, NJ to Antoinette (nee Monelo) and Thomas Lanzone.  He worked for Western Electric for many years as a Technician.  Anthony was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in The Korean War.  He loved watching and cheering on his favorite team The Green Bay Packers.  Anthony was an extremely talented and detailed Carpenter.  He was known for his intricate woodworking designs.  Family was his number one priority and enjoyed spending quality time.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 beginning at 1 P.M. and concluding at 5 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Funeral Mass Monday, June 7, 2021, 9:30 AM St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
