Anthony Gaetano Olivieri of Hoboken and Rumson, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. Born in Hoboken to parents Nicholas and Caterina (nee Mele) Olivieri. He as President of Star Glo Industries in East Rutherford, NJ. He was a graduate of AJ Demarest High School in Hoboken and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from FDU. Anthony was a proud veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War and was also a member of The Columbians. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Rosemary Olivieri (nee Petrillo) of Hoboken. Surviving are two sons, Michael and George Mazzeo (Susan), his sister, Lucille Peterhoff of Hoboken; grandchildren, Noah, Rosanna, Arthur and Christina, his niece Jane Mercado and nephews, Edward Peterhoff, Phillip Olivieri and Mark Olivieri.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2019 beginning at 4pm and concluding at 8pm at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. A graveside service for the family will be held at 12pm on Saturday, January 11th at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
