Angeles Cotto-Hernandez, 78, of Hoboken, NJ, entered into eternal life on September 14, 2025. Loving mother of Luis Antonio Pagan, Glory Ann Pagan and Mary Ann Pagan. A proud and devoted grandmother to Dimarie, Brandon, Kiomy, Luis, David and Jose.

Angeles was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to Ramona (née Hernandez) and Domingo Cotto, on August 1st, 1947. A Hoboken resident for 46 years, she worked as a launderer in Hoboken’s own Garden Laundry for 20 years before retiring in 2014. She was a proud member of Our Lady of Grace Church and participant of the church’s women-led group called Las Damas de Maria.

A Celebration of Angeles’s life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking is available in the rear of the funeral home off Sixth Street. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 400 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Angeles’s memory to March of Dimes and Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
