Angela DePinto (nee Mele), 102, of Union City, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.  Angela was born in Molfetta, Italy to Isabella (nee Scardigno) and Gaetano Mele.  She was married for over 50 years to the love of her life the late Michael DePinto.  Angela was the beloved mother of Guy and his late wife Barbara, Philip, and Samuel.  The greatest joy in her life were her grandchildren, John, Michael G., Laura, Michael V., Danielle, Michael A., and 6 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by two brothers, Mauro and Angelo Mele. Angela was a talented Seamstress and taught her craft as well.  She emigrated to the United States in 1956 settling in Hoboken and later moved to Union City.  Angela was a Godly woman and devout parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church.  In her past time, you could find her reading the Italian Newspaper or watching her novellas and The Golden Girls.  She always continued honing her skills by creating beautiful knit clothing and sewing. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 beginning at 10 A.M and concluding at 1 P.M.  A Catholic Blessing will begin at 12:30 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ.
