Andrew Edward Gaspar died peacefully in his home on January 10, 2022. Born on March 28, 1972 in New York City he was raised and spent most of his life in Hoboken NJ. He graduated from Hoboken High School, where he played football. He attended and played football at Wagner College is Staten Island New York.
Andrew had a storied career in New York City Construction following in his father’s footsteps. Andrew was part of the rebuild of the Plaza Hotel, Gucci retail space, and the Ziegfeld Theatre, he was a well-regarded Superintendent in the busy New York City Construction industry.
Andrew loved the Philadelphia Eagles. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. The best way to describe this wonderful man is that he was a kind and gentle person and a loyal loving son, brother and friend to many. He will be missed more than he will ever know. He may be gone from our sight but he will always be in our hearts.
Andrew was predeceased by his father George G. Gaspar, he is survived by his Mother Mary Gaspar (nee. Stack), his siblings Maggie McIntyre, Catherine Bowidowicz, George M. Gaspar, Mary Hillenbrand, and Teresa Gaspar. His brother-in-laws Peter McIntyre (deceased), James Bowidowicz, and Otto Hillenbrand and sister-in-law Gabriella Gaspar. Also 12 nieces and nephews Sean, Shannon, Devon and Megan McIntyre. Andrew, Michael, and Daniel Bowidowicz. Isabella and George Gaspar. Christen, Alexandra, and Ryann Hillenbrand.
Andrew will be remembered during a memorial mass held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church in Hoboken, N.J. at 11AM.
