Ada Mongelli, 90, of Hoboken passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Christ Hospital, Jersey City. Born in Puerto Rico. Ada was employed as a lunch aide/cook at Sacred Heart Academy and was a volunteer cook at St. Francis Church, both in Hoboken.  She was a member of the Rosary Society. Ada was predeceased by her loving husband, James Mongelli (1996), her two sisters, Hilda and Wilda, and her son-in-law Alan Jaffee. She leaves her two cherished daughters and son-in-law, Constance (Connie) Sacci , Antoinette (Annie) Jaffee and Charles (Chuck) Sacci to mourn her passing. A great joy in Ada’s life were her cherished grandchildren, Christina Francis and Paul Michael Sacci, and two great-grandchildren, Ashley Ada Francis and Brittany Mary Francis.

The Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020, 12pm at St. Francis Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.  Visitation will begin at 9:30am and conclude at 11:30am at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.
