William M. Burke, 86, of Jensen Beach, Florida passed away on February 11, 2022 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born on March 13, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ, Bill Burke lived in Jensen Beach nearly 20 years having moved from Rumson, NJ. As a graduate of St. Peter’s Prep and St. Peter’s College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics, he was employed at various companies including Ethicon of Johnson & Johnson, Singer and Sanyo before starting his own business named Systems Products Company (SPC), in Long Branch, NJ. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years Margaret Burke and his sisters Agnus Martin, Betty Horvath & May Burke. Surviving is his son, William Burke, Jr. of Hoboken, NJ; daughters, Sheila Milz and her husband Kevin of Springtown, PA, and Jennifer Hansel and her husband Steve of Jamison, PA; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Cavan, Kyle, Caylee and Kiera.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Failla-McKnight Funeral Home, 533 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ 07030 on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 4 pm-8 pm. A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Aedan’s: The Saint Peter’s University Church, 800 Bergen Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306 on Friday March 4, 2022 at 10 am.
