Sylvia Padilla, 96 of Hoboken, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2022 under hospice care at The Harborage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Bergen, NJ.
Sylvia was born in the Dominican Republic. She immigrated to the United States 55 years ago and has been a resident of Hoboken for 20 years. Sylvia was a retired cook with Palisades General Hospital in North Bergen, NJ.
Sylvia was predeceased by her beloved son Reynaldo Soriano. Sylvia leaves behind her surviving children; daughter, Sylvia Smith; son, Pedro A. Soriano and daughter-in-law Lynda Soriano. Also, her two beloved grandsons, David Smith and Patrick Soriano. As well as her sister Josefina Padilla and various nieces.
Her funeral mass will be offered September 28th, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace RC Church, in Hoboken, at 11am.
Interment will follow in the Dominican Republic. Visitation will be held at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home; 533 Willow Avenue in Hoboken, NJ on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 at 9am. Preceding the funeral mass scheduled for 11am
