Salvatore De Meo, 71, a life long Hoboken resident passed away on January 7, 2021 at Hoboken University Medical Center.  Surviving is the mother of his children Jane and an endeared daughter Melissa Veliz and her husband Lazaro, two sons Salvatore Jr. and his wife Kristen, and Daniel and his wife Kitty. His brother Nick and his wife Lorraine and their daughter Andrea.  He will be sadly missed by his cherished grandchildren Mikey Boy, Avery, and Salvatore, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Salvatore spent 14 years on the Hoboken Police Force before retiring in 1991.  His number one priority was being the best father and grandfather.  His warm smile and great sense of humor will forever be remembered by all who knew him.  Salvatore was a talented and well-known musician throughout Hoboken.  His band Vintage rocked out at the local hotspots in the 80’s.

Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis R.C. Church on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at 10 A.M.  Interment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.  Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.  Please adhere to all Covid-19 guidelines.
