Richard James Gilbarty, 68 of Hoboken passed away peacefully with his loved ones at his side on January 17th. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane Gilbarty (Orefice), his son James, his daughter Ashley, his brother John Gilbarty, his daughter-in-law Nichole, his sister-in-law Mirta, and his greatest joy, his beloved grandson, Luca.
Richard was a proud Science teacher and football coach at North Bergen High School for over 30 years. He was a true Bruin and his students, players, and NB family brought him endless joy and happiness.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, January 20th beginning at 3PM and concluding at 8PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 21st at St. Francis Church at 10AM. Followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
