Michael Demone “Buddy” 93, of Kinnelon formerly of Hoboken passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 17th, 2023 at the Chilton Memorial Hospital in Kinnelon, NJ.
Michael was a trucking clerk for many years at Penn Truck Lines in North Bergen before retiring and spending many years enjoying life with his wife as snowbirds in Delray Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha (nee Ceglie), his two daughters Ann Marie Cassera and her husband Peter of Wayne, Donna Demone, of Pequannock and son, Anthony and his wife Debra of Hasbrouck Heights. Michael was predeceased by nine siblings.
A great joy in his life were his cherished grandchildren Christina, Dana, Anthony, Kristen, Laura, Kyle, Brandon and Alyssa.
The visitation will be held at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home 533 Willow Ave, Hoboken on Friday October 20th, 2023 beginning at 9:00 prior to the funeral mass which will be offered at St. Ann’s RC Church Hoboken at 11:00am, ample parking in rear of church.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
