Obituary

Mark A. Procaccino, 61, of Secaucus formerly of Hoboken, passed away on February 4, 2022 at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. Born in Hoboken, Mark was a resident of Secaucus at the time of passing. Mark was a Communications Specialist with NJ Transit – (Rail) for the past nineteen years. Mark was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in West New York, New Jersey. Mark is survived by his wife, Patricia D’Amato Procaccino, his loving mother, Chlorinda (Linda) nee Strabioli, his sons, Carmine and his wife Lisa and Eric and his wife Melissa, a loving daughter, Athena Schmitges (Ron), a brother Alphonse, II (JoAnne) Procaccino and sister’s, Linda Cantatore and her husband Jack and Laura. A host of grandchildren also survive him, Vincent, Gianna, Sophia, Matthew, Carmine, Julianna, Christian, Brandon, Julie and Daniel and a host of many endeared nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Alphonse and a brother Francis.

The Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 11, 2022, 11AM at St. Francis RC Church, Hoboken. A private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, beginning at 3PM and concluding at 8PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.
