Obituary

Marino, DeGennaro, 71, formerly of Hoboken and Rutherford passed away suddenly on July 5, 2020 at his Secaucus residence. Born in Jersey City. Marino was a Vice President of Sales for more than thirty years at American Saw Inc., now known as Lenox Corp. in Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Rose (nee Salvemini) DeGennaro. Surviving is his only son, Salvatore and his wife Stephanie, a loving daughter, Jaclyn and her husband Yosleisy Valdes, MD and their mother Raffaella, his cherished brother Mauro (Moe) and his wife Josephine and his loving sister, Annie DeGennaro Ohanian.  A great joy in his life were his precious grandchildren, Joseph Salvatore and Luca James and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to share in the Celebration of the
Eucharist at the funeral mass on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, 10AM at St. Francis RC Church, Hoboken. Any one attending should gather at the church no later than 9:45. Ample parking is available adjacent to the church off 3rd Street. Memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, (www.stjude.org) will be appreciated. Envelopes will be provided at the church. A private cremation will follow.
