Marie F. Quagliozzi nee Catalano, 93, Of Jersey City formerly of Hoboken passed away peacefully on Saturday October 29th, 2023.
Marie was born in France and was a resident of Hoboken for many years before settling in Jersey City. She was a devoted housewife, Mother and Parishioner of St. Francis Church.
She was predeceased by her cherished Husband John in 2013. She leaves to mourn her passing, two loving sons, Anthony and Rick (Pam). Her only daughter Michele and her husband Bill, a cherished brother Nicholas Catalano of France.
Marie was a proud and loving grandmother to Matthew, Nichols, Christa, Danielle, Billy, Rachael and Mellissa.
An additional joy in her life were her 5 great grandchildren Christian, Anhtony, Lucy, Ava and Emma.
Marie was also predeceased by a sister Lucy Vernaglia.
Marie was a devoted member of the St Francis Rosary Society and volunteered her assistance at St. Francis Rectory for 20 years.
The funeral mass will be offered on Thursday November 2nd, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Francis RC Church.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 1st, 2023 at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home beginning at 3:00pm and concluding at 8:00pm.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to St Jude’s Children’s hospital, World Vision or The Alzheimer’s Foundation.
