Jean Carmody-Castaldo (nee McAuley), 77, a long time resident of Jersey City, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 7, 2021.  She is survived by her beloved husband Michael Castaldo.  Jean was the devoted mother of William and Mary and step children, Michael, Patrick, Kathleen, Jessica, and Maryann.  The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Aidan, Bridie Star, Alyssa, Sophia, Logan, Emiley, Kacey, Skyler, Chloe, and Michael.  She was the endeared sister of, James and Gerry.  Jean was born in New York, New York to Eugenia (nee Duggan) and Jim McAuley.  Jean was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and a dedicated friend.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her daughter Colleen.

Funeral Mass, Saturday, November 13, 2021, 2 P.M. at St. Ann’s R.C. Church.  Visitation will be held on Saturday beginning at 9:30 A.M. and concluding at 1:15 P.M.  Cremation Private
