Obituary

Jack Minervini, 79, of Monmouth Junction, NJ, formerly of Hoboken, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. 

Jack was born in Molfetta, Italy and came to the United States at the age of 12.

He was a retired Plumbing Inspector for several Mercer County communities. 

Jack was a proud Veteran in the U.S. Army and National Guard. 

He was the Founder and Owner of Minervini Plumbing & Heating in Hoboken. 

Jack was a diehard Yankees and Giants fan. He especially loved spending time with his sons, Frank and Mark and his good friend Todd Mentasti; watching and attending games. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lena (Nee Buonarota), the love of his life, and his sons, Frank and his wife Kim and Mark, a Lieutenant in the Jersey City Police Department. 

Jack was also blessed with 3 grandchildren, Julie Minervini, Frank, Jr., and Nicholas. 

Also surviving is a sister, Vincenza. 

Visitation will be held at Failla-Mcknight Memorial Home; 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ, on Friday, February 10th, 2023, beginning at 3pm and concluding at 8pm.

(Parking available in rear of memorial home. Off Sixth street, between Park Avenue and Willow)

The Funeral mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church in Hoboken, NJ on Saturday, February 11th, 2023, beginning at 9am.

Relatives and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Francis church, on 3rd and Jefferson St., no later than 8:45am.

*NO VISITATION AT FUNERAL HOME PRIOR TO THE FUNERAL MASS*

Parking is available, adjacent to the church, also on 3rd and Jefferson St.

Entombment following at Holy Cross Burial Park, Our Lady of Sorrows Mausoleum, Cranberry, NJ.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to St. Francis RC Church or SS. Peter and Paul RC Church, both located in Hoboken, NJ.
