Hernando “Andy” Ruiz Zorrilla, 84, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his children.
Born in Manila, Philippines. Later becoming a resident of Hoboken for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Emma nee Linker (2017).
Andy was a retired Yardman with the Caliber Auto Transfer in Port Elizabeth, NJ and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 560 in Union City, NJ.
Surviving are two daughters, Tita Lugo and her husband David, Jennifer Dennis and her husband Kenneth, and a son, Adriane Ruiz Zorrilla and his wife Roxsann. A brother David and a sister Laura Gregory.
Andy leaves behind twelve endeared grandchildren; Chelsea, Aiden, Cyan, Alexa, Mia, Isabella, Sophia, Julian, Billy, Aaron, Gia, Janet, and a great-grandson, John.
A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
A private cremation will take place in Clifton, NJ.
