Felice Capurso, 76, of North Bergen, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 27th, 2023.
Born in Molfetta, Italy to the late Vito and Angela (Diasio) Capurso. Felice immigrated to the USA in 1966, where he became a merchant marine and a presser. Finally settling as a Union Carpenter until his retirement in 1996.
Felice was an active member of the Juventus Club in Hoboken.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (nee Valente) Capurso, three sons; Vito and his wife Diana, Frank and his wife Angelia, and Michael Capurso.
A great joy in his life were his grandchildren; Dante, Dorian, Gabrielle, Ava, Ivana and Sabastian Capurso.
He is also survived by his four brothers; Michael, Dominick, Frank and Leo; and a sister, Luisa Valente.
He was predeceased by a brother, Salvatore and a sister Marta.
Felice loved his family and friends, in doing so, he lived a beautiful life. Especially when it came to his grandchildren, cooking on holidays, and traveling to Florida for the winter.
He enjoyed quoting Frank Sinatra, “He did it his way!”
The funeral mass will be offered St. Margaret of Cortona RC Church; 31 Chamberlain Ave, Little Ferry, NJ 07643, at 10:30am on Friday, June 2nd, 2023.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to share in the funeral mass.
