Obituary

Dominick Vitolo “Doc”, 86, a resident of Secaucus since 1979 passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday September 25, 2020.  Born in Hoboken Dominick was the beloved husband of Maryann (nee Amato).  A retired employee for the Fiore House of Quality in Hoboken for more than 55 years.  Doc was known and respected by many.  A proud U.S. Army Veteran and recipient of the Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Service Defense Medal, and the U.N. Service Medal.  He was a longtime member of the Secaucus Veterans of Forgein War Association.  Besides his wife Maryann he leaves to mourn his passing a cherished son John and his wife Lisamarie and a devoted daughter Felicia Vitolo Moglia (Richard).  A brother Joseph and his wife Anna and a sister Mary Krueter (John).  His endeared in laws Beatrice Vitolo, John Amato and his wife Josephine, and Mary Amato.  Recently he was predeceased by his brother Louis and his brother in law Vincent Amato. He was also predeceased by two sisters Raffella and Frances. Also surviving are his adored grandchildren Tara Lynn, Michael, Jenna, Taylor, and Richard Dominick.  He was blessed with three great grandchildren Vincent, Joseph, and Michael. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 29, 2020 beginning at 8:15 AM.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to share in the celebration of the Eucharist at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus beginning at 10:45 AM Reverend John Perricone celebrant. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  Valet parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
