Dan Howell, 77, formerly of Ridgefield, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Born in Hoboken and was a resident there at the time of his passing. Dan was the owner of Advance Siding and Windows in Ridgefield, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents William and Margaret (nee Graham) Howell. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty-four years, Maureen (nee) Ottilo.  He leaves to mourn his passing, his two cherished daughters, Juliann and her husband Jeffrey Martinez, AnnMarie and her husband Chris DeCandia, and sister Margaret Beall.  His greatest joy and most loving memories to Dan were his three grandchildren, Jeffrey and his wife Kelly Martinez, Michael and his fiancé Sammantha Griffin and Jenna and her fiancé Nick Filippo, and two great-grandchildren, twins Julia and Gianna. Dan will always be remembered as Pa/Buddy to his grandchildren, his wonderful smile, his knowledge about history, politics and education.  He will be forever missed by everyone who was fortunate and privileged to have known him. Always in our hearts. Rest in Peace.

The visitation for Dan will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, beginning at 5PM and concluding at 9PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Valet parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully asked to gather at the church no later than 10:45AM. A Funeral Mass will be offered to celebrate Dan’s life on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 11AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. Private Cremation.

In order to comply with the new regulations, we are requesting that all funeral gatherings & visitations do not exceed 10 people.

We encourage friends of the family to visit our obituaries page to send condolences online. Funeral arrangements can be made via telephone and email to limit exposure. Cemeteries are also required to follow health code restrictions concerning attendance at interments and entombments.
