Christopher Costa “Nicky Numbers”, 62, A lifelong resident of North Bergen passed away on September 20th 2023 at his North Bergen home.
He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of North Bergen, Known to many of his close’s friends as “NICKY NUMBERS” or “The Mayor of the neighbors”. He was a proud graduate of North Bergen High School. A retired truck driver, he worked for various local trucking companies in Hudson County.
Chris lived a life full of joy with a childlike spirit. Always a smile on his face and forever willing to lend a hand. His laughter and phenomenal cooking skills will be missed.
Chris leaves to mourn his passing his cherished mother Rosemarie Costa nee Giaquinto. His only brother Angelo Costa, his sisters, Rosemarie Lonis, Kathy Costa McKeown and her husband Paul. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Christos Lonis.
He was an endeared uncle to Cheryl, Tania, Michael and an additional nephew also named Michael. Six loving great nieces and nephews also survive him.
The funeral mass will be offered at St. Ann’s RC Church in Hoboken on Monday September 25th at 10:00am.
The visitation will be held on Sunday September 24th 2023 beginning at 5pm and concluding at 9pm at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken NJ.
Interment will follow his Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
