Catherine McGuire nee Phillips, 74 born in Jersey City. Catherine was a resident in Hoboken most of her life. She passed away surrounded by her loving family at Hackensack Medical Center on April 5th. She worked 25 years in the cafeteria service at Stevens Institute of Technology at Hoboken, NJ as a cook. Surviving is her loving children Catherine and her husband Michael, Raymond and his wife Giovanna, Kelly Lucivero and her husband Nicholas, Edward and Brian McGuire. Also surviving is a brother Peter Phillips and his wife Kimberly. A special joy in her life were her grandchildren Vanessa and Ronald, Michael and Patricia, Jessica and Carlos, Alissa, Christina, Natalie, Gabriella, Brian, Lynnae, and Justin. Along with eight cherished great grandchildren and a host of endeared nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8th from 4PM-8PM at Failla McKnight Memorial Home. Parking in rear of the Funeral Home off 6th Street. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 9:30AM at St. Francis Church. Followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
