Catherine Elizabeth Raggio (nee Lanzo), 91, a lifelong resident of Hoboken, passed away peacefully, on August 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born in Hoboken to Mary (nee DeMone) and Ralph Lanzo, on April 25, 1930. Catherine will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Mario and her devoted daughter Catherine “Cookie” Raggio, and her cherished brother Ralph Lanzo. A great joy in Catherine’s life were her six nieces and five nephews. Catherine is also survived by a host of great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews . She was predeceased in Death by her three siblings Paul and Michael Lanzo, and Mary Burriello. Catherine was a long-time owner with her husband Mario at Raggio Meats, in Hoboken. She was a proud Honorary Member of The St. Ann’s Guild and a member of the St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary, in Hoboken.

The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s R.C Church, in Hoboken, on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, in Paramus, NJ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Failla- McKnight Memorial Home, in Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home, off Sixth Street.
