Carmine Canonico, 94, of Hoboken passed away surrounded by his loving family at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck NJ on February 5th. Born in Monte Forte Irpino, P. Avellino, Italy. He has been a resident in Hoboken for many years. He was employed by Hudson Toyota in Jersey City as an expert auto mechanic retiring in 2006. Carmine was extremely proud of his Italian heritage, he was predecease by his wonderful wife Carmela nee Ferrara in 1979. Surviving are two sons Angelo, Anthony, and his wife Samantha, and one daughter Giovanna McGuire and her husband Raymond. Carmine was a proud grandfather to Christina and Natalie McGuire.

The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis R.C. Church on Saturday, February 12th at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at Failla Memorial Home on Friday, February beginning at 4PM and concluding at 9PM. Parking available off 6th Street.
