Obituary

Carlo Cirilli went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 at Christ Hospital, Jersey City. He was born in Molfetta, Italy on August 31, 1949 and relocated to Hoboken, NJ in 1966.

Carlo was one of three children born to the late Domenico Cirilli and the late Carmela (Molinini) Cirilli.

Carlo loved his family, had a passion for cooking, and took great pride in his work. Family and friends will gather to remember the life of a man who was always there to lend a helping hand to all, with a positive outlook and sense of humor, whenever in his company you left with a smile.

He was a chef saucier in the earlier years of his life, became the owner of Carlo’s Deli & Liquor in Hoboken, NJ, and for the past 32 years owner & head instructor of Slim’s Driving School in Westwood, NJ.

He will be remembered by his loving wife, Maria Cirilli; his children Carmela Cirilli Mattson (Timothy), Domenico Cirilli; his four cherished grandchildren Desiree, Carlo, Olivia, and Beatrice. He had countless family and friends all of whom were blessed to know him.
