Obituary

Antonietta Caroprese joined our Lord on March 1st, 2022, at the age of 95
with her loving children at her side. She was born on August 1, 1926 in a small mountain town, Carpino, Foggia. The Puglia region of Italy. Her dream was to come to the United States which she accomplished and was married to Daniel Antonacci. She taught herself how to read and write English by reading the newspaper, most likely the Jersey Journal, with an assist from her husband Dan. For over 50 years she worked for various garment factories in Hoboken and was a member of ILGWU. Her special joy was being around her family and friends. Especially her grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake for everyone and was filled with such happiness to see everyone at her table or share a plate of pasta with someone in the building where she lived; Columbian Arms at 514 Madison Street.

The family greatly appreciates the excellent care given by her Nursing Home Village Point Rehabilitation and Healthcare located in Monroe New Jersey. The staff treated Antonietta with loving care and extended that warmth to her family as well.

“She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible.
She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of
wings.” By Arian Dancu
