Obituary

Anthony F  Iannacconi “DINTY”, 91, a long time resident of Hoboken, passed on to new life on January 24, 2021, at the Palisade Medical Center in North Bergen. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving children: Margaret Ann Ronga, Jane, Susan Gallo and her husband Ralph, David and his wife Danielle , his precious grandchildren, Jason, Nicolas, Angelica, Alexa and Kiara. He was predeceased by his parents Domenico and Guilia (née) Stratan, his late wife Louise M. Giordano, a son Anthony and his siblings, Michael, Sam, Carmen, Josephine Linker, Sophie Dappuzo, Elizabeth Colegrove, Louise Curry, and step-sister Lilly Camporeale. “DINTY” was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. “DINTY “ as he was known by many, worked in the Iannacconi Family Fruit & Vegetables business in Hoboken. He also worked at Cooper- Jarrett Trucking Company in Queens, The Meadowlands “NJSEA”, retiring in 1989. “DINTY” will also be remembered as a retired Teamsters with Local 560 , from 1955 until 1989. He was also a past president of the Cascade Social Club, in Hoboken, Past president of St. Ann’s Holy Name Society, Vice-president of the St. Ann PTA. “DINTY “ worked endlessly during St. Ann’s Feast and he was Chairman for The St. Ann’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, in 1975. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, January 29, 2021 , at 12PM ,  at St. Ann R.C Church , in Hoboken. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery , in North Arlington , NJ. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral mass Friday, from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM at Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken. All COVID regulations to be followed.
