Anna Tuminaro (nee Serino), 90, a lifelong resident of Hoboken passed away on January 28th, 2023 at the Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, NJ.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, James, of 53 years; a retired Hoboken Police Lieutenant, and son Joseph. She was also predeceased by her parents Orlando and Michelina Serino. Siblings; Joseph, Orazio, Stanley and Carmela Siano.
For many years, Anna was employed as a waitress for several Hoboken restaurants. It was a job she thoroughly enjoyed as it led to meeting wonderful people and making lasting friendships. Anna’s pride and joy was her family. She so loved them and enjoyed spending all holidays and special occasions with them. Her absence is heartbreaking for everyone she knew.
Surviving by her loving son, James “Jay”, a retired Hoboken Police Captain and daughter-in-law, Genevieve (nee Monaco), a retired Hoboken School Teacher. Grandchildren, Jay and his wife Gabriella, Christina and her husband Chris Condello, Giacomo and wife Kaitlyn. Great-grandchildren, Dominick and Lilianne Tuminaro, Gianna Condello, Alexis Minnella, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church in Hoboken, NJ on Monday, February 6th, 2023. Beginning at 11am.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
