Obituary

The family of Ann Sansevere (nee Bucco) sadly announces her passing on May 1st, 2023 at the age of 93. Ann was born and raised in Hoboken, the city she loved. This is a tremendous loss as she will be greatly missed.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Sansevere, as well as her parents, Michael and Lena Bucco (nee DeCarlo).

Ann was devoted to her family. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved children Sandra, Charlie and his wife Madeline, Michael and his wife Kathryn. Ann’s happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren: Joseph, Marc and his wife Daniella, Michael and his wife Katherine. She is survived by her sister, Carole Mitchard, many nieces and nephews and “her girls” Monroe, Kennedy, and McKinley.

Ann was a staple of 7th and Adams, as she would always sit outside when the weather was nice with family and friends. She would share stories and always had a delightful time (thank you Dolores, Emily, Gaynell and many others).

Ann was devoted to St. Ann’s and would always look forward to attending novena and celebrating St. Ann on her feast day.

She was a very special person. Her love and caring nature could never be replaced.

A funeral mass will be offered at St. Ann’s RC Church in Hoboken, on May 3rd, 2023, beginning at 11am.

Prior to mass, a visitation will be held at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home; 533 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ on May 3rd, 2023 beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that all donations be made to St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Hoboken, NJ.
