Angela Marie Colarusso, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 in her home. Born in Bethlehem, PA, Angela grew up in Bath, PA, lived for periods in Scranton, Philadelphia, Newark, DE, and Brooklyn, NY, until settling in Hoboken. Angela graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, and excelled in a career in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Development. Most recently, she worked as the Director of Global Project and Alliance Management at Merck & Co in Rahway, NJ.
Angela was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and brought everyone in her life so much joy with her big smile and giving heart. Angela is Survived by her parents, Joseph and Carol Colarusso, her husband David Boonstra, her cherished son, Flynn Boonstra, her sister Andrea Raynor, brother Anthony Colarusso, her Grandfather Robert Hujsa, and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Niece, and Nephews.
Angela was truly exceptional in everything she did. She loved running and completed 24 marathons across the country, along with winning quite a few local smaller races as well. A love of traveling took Angela to over 20 countries across five continents. However, she was most successful in caring for her family and friends, in particular her son Flynn. She will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be at Failla McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030 on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 3:00pm through 7:00pm.
