Obituary

Agnes “Aggie” Forino (nee Lockwood), 82, passed away at her Hoboken residence in the presence of her family on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Born in Jersey City to parents Charles, Sr. and Catherine (nee Pagano) Lockwood. Agnes was a Hoboken city crossing guard for more than fifty years at St. Ann’s School, corner of 7th and Madison Street. Upon her retirement the street where she was posted was named after her.  She was predeceased by her husband Louis (1991). She leaves to mourn her passing three sons, Michael, Louis Jr. and his wife Laura, Francis and his wife Georgiann, four cherished daughters, Linda and her husband Joe Prezioso, Mary and her husband Dwight Newell, Dawn and her husband Frank Garcia and Margaret Blackbourn. Also surviving is a sister Mary Julian, and Fran Boily and her husband John, eleven loving grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Agnes was predeceased by a sister Genevieve Lemon and six brothers, Charles Jr., Samuel, Michael, Robert, Thomas and Harry.

The Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, November 21, 2020, 10AM at St. Francis RC Church, Hoboken. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, beginning at 3PM at concluding at 7PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org will be greatly appreciated by the family.
